Oh Dawn,
I fully agree with Emily but thank you so much for sharing that song. I cannot believe it has been a week. I don't know what else to say except I love you Dawn and I hope that having Chris' friends around will help to comfort you. Saturday is going to be very hard, so I pray that God gives all of us the strength to make it through.

Dawn...you have friends and family in Texas that are praying for you too. We love our Emily and we know that Chris did too; we felt like he was a part of our family and he will be greatly missed. Our hearts break for you all but Christ WILL get you through until your family is united again someday as one with Him.
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Dear Dawn, Thanks for sharing this song. Our hearts break with you and our prayers continue, especially that as you hold onto Jesus you will find His comfort near and close. We wish we could have been there for the memorial,we are so glad that you all were able to see the testament of his life through those who came. We love you. -Yale and Donna

Dawn,

Huge tears fall down my face as I listen to this song...I know all of us can feel your broken heart as we listen to the words of this song yet none of us can imagine the pain of your broken heart. We will faithfully pray for you, your family and sweet Emily. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing there are so many people who love and care for you and who are dilegently lifting you up to the Lord.

May our Lord wrap you closely in His Love and Grace....Kathy Vochoska

Dear Champion clan and friends,

Carolyn Champion opened up her home up to me over two years ago, and though it was a short stay, to this day her home feels like my home, thus her family feels like my family. Though I never met Chris, I feel like I knew him. In fact I was sitting next to Carolyn when she received the news on Chris's passing. I was so grateful that I was able to attend the celebration of Chris's life, and meet so many of the wonderful family members I hear so much about. All that to say this, though God never intended Chris to get, or pass from Cancer, it is a perfect example of our Lord turning something meant for evil into good. The many lives that were touched through the journey, whether it be through e-mail updates, or by sitting at his bed side day and night, is a true testimony of a people that love and serve God. Chris's response to this till the very end was so appropriate, he believed in healing and the goodness of God. Though many questions may go unanswered, it blessed me, and I know it blessed God to see all who were there, gather and bring Him praise. This is the first ceremony I have been to where the loved one truly went to be with Father, and this is a beautiful thing.

Blessings,
Brittany
